Paul came to West Colonial Hills Baptist in October of 2020 after serving in ministry for over 30 years. Most recently, he has been on staff at Crossway Baptist Church in Springfield, MO where he served as the Minister of Evangelism and Missions for 11 years. He has also spent time overseas as a missionary with the IMB in Uruguay, South America and was a previous pastor of West Colonial Hills for 14 years before going to Uruguay. He met his wife, Pam, at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and they were married shortly after graduation in 1980. They have three grown childen; one daughter serving with her family in Spain, a son as a youth pastor in Oregon, and a daughter serving at Crossway Baptist in Missouri. He and Pam have 7 grandchildren.
Neal Hartley first came to WCHBC in 2012. In his current role, he leads/plans our weekly worship services and oversees the children, youth, and college ministry areas. Recently, Neal has stepped in to lead the High School Ministry area as we have developed distinct Middle School and High School ministries.
Neal has Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served on staff at churches in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. As well as serving in the local church, Neal is also a recording artist and has released several albums of original Christian music. Neal is originally from Georgia and still roots for his Braves and Bulldogs despite living in the heart of Vols country. He collects all things Superman, Batman, Star Wars, and Marvel…and his office reflects this!
Ashley came to serve on staff at WCHBC in 2024. She currently serves as the Director of Children's Ministry and assistant in the office. Ashley served on the mission field in both Tijuana and Mexico City, Mexico for a total of 8 years. She is thankful to be able to speak Spanish fluently and has a heart for the world to know Christ. Ashley graduated from Liberty University with an Undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and Philosophy. Ashley is married to Jared, the mother of 3 and has one on the way.
